Gastroenterology in Katy, Texas
Digestive symptoms are easy to live with and hard to explain. Most people who reach us have had one for months, sometimes years, and have already been told their tests came back normal. We treat that as a starting point rather than an answer.
Our board-certified gastroenterologists treat the full range of digestive and liver conditions. The common ones, such as GERD and acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic constipation, bloating and gas and abdominal pain. The inflammatory ones, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. And the ones that are often missed, including SIBO, celiac disease, chronic diarrhea and fatty liver disease. We also treat hemorrhoids and other causes of rectal bleeding and anal pain.
Diagnosis happens in our clinic on Kingsland Boulevard, and colonoscopy and upper endoscopy are performed by our own physicians at Zazen Surgery Center, in the same building, so you are not sent across Houston for your procedure and back again for the results. Capsule endoscopy starts in the clinic itself, and healthy adults who are due for screening can book through our open access colonoscopy program.
For many people the answer is not only medical. Our registered dietitians and nutrition and lifestyle care work alongside the clinical team, so a diagnosis arrives with a plan you can act on rather than a handout.

Yes, if you qualify. Through our open access program, healthy adults aged 45 to 75 who are due for a routine screening and have no digestive symptoms can schedule a colonoscopy after a phone health review, without a separate office visit.
